Speculators trimmed positions due to subdued spot demand

Press Trust of India New Delhi
Crude palm oil remained weak and prices fell 0.16% to Rs 562.70 per 10 kg in futures trading today after speculators trimmed positions due to subdued spot demand.

At the Multi Commodity Exchange, crude palm oil for delivery in December declined by 90 paise, or 0.16%, to Rs 562.70 per 10 kg in business turnover of 15 lots.

Likewise, the oil for delivery in January traded lower by 60 paise, or 0.11%, to Rs 566.80 per 10 kg in 10 lots.

Analysts said speculators trimmed positions on subdued demand against sufficient supplies mainly kept pressure on crude palm oil prices at futures trade.
