Crude palm oil up 0.1% on spot demand

Oil for delivery in November traded higher by 0.07%

Crude palm oil prices edged up by 0.11% to Rs 536.90 per 10 kg in futures trade today as speculators created positions after an improvement in spot market demand.

At the Multi Commodity Exchange, crude palm oil for delivery in October edged up by 60 paise, or 0.11%, to Rs 536.90 per 10 kg in business turnover of 275 lots.

Similarly, the oil for delivery in November traded higher by 40 paise, or 0.07%, to Rs 536.50 per 10 kg in 223 lots.

Market analysts said speculators created positions after an improvement in spot market demand mainly helped crude palm oil prices to trade marginally higher at futures trade.
