Crude palm oil for delivery in August moved up by 0.66%

Press Trust of India New Delhi
Crude palm oil prices rose by Rs 3.60 to Rs 516.60 per 10 kg in futures market today as speculators created fresh positions, supported by pick up in demand in the spot market.

At the Multi Commodity Exchange, crude palm oil for delivery in July rose by Rs 3.60, or 0.7% to Rs 516.60 per 10 kg in business turnover of 514 lots.

Likewise, the oil for delivery in August moved up by Rs 3.40, or 0.66% to Rs 517.50 per 10 kg in 520 lots.

Analysts said the rise in crude palm oil prices at futures trade was mostly attributed to fresh positions created by speculators following pick up in demand in the spot market.
