Dividend Lolly Drives Up Cummins

Cummins India (CIL) was in focus today, what with a stupendous 200 per cent interim dividend declared by the company. The scrip of the MNC engine maker ended 4.83 per cent higher at Rs 56.45.
In fact, it had gained 4.4 per cent to Rs 56.25 on BSE in late afternoon trades before hitting a high of Rs 57.40 earlier. A total of 1.38 lakh Cummins India shares were traded on BSE. In the last few months, the stock has moved in a band of Rs 50-60.
