Exchanges to be shut on Oct 15 election day

Trading in capital markets will be closed on Oct 15 for the Maharashtra state elections.
In a notice on the BSE website, the exchange said that trading in the equity, currency and debt segment will be shut.
"...on account of the Maharashtra state assembly elections, the exchange will remain closed on Oct 15, 2014..." the notice said.
