The number of listed companies on the BSE’s trading platform for small and medium enterprises (SMEs) has increased to 126.
On Wednesday, Relicab Cable Manufacturing became the 126th company to get listed on the platform, which is meant for companies with a paid-up capital of up to Rs 25 crore.
BSE’s SME platform was launched on March 13, 2012. Shares of Relicab ended at Rs 20.1 apiece compared to initial public offering (IPO) price of Rs 20 a share.

Aryaman Financial Services was the lead manager for the issue. The total market capitalisation of the 126 companies listed on this platform is Rs 6,768 crore. Sixteen companies that first listed on the platform have now migrated for trading on the main board, where shares of the country's blue-chip companies are traded.
