Guarseed prices looked down by Rs 365 to Rs 11,806 per quintal in futures trading today following all round selling by traders on existing higher levels.
Marketmen said traders preferred to book profits on higher levels influenced by a weak trend in spot markets.
At the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, guarseed prices for delivery in July dropped by Rs 365, or 3%, to Rs 11,806 per quintal, with an open interest of 450 lots.
The most-active February contract shed Rs 328, or 2.70%, to Rs 11,811 per quintal, having an open interest of 39,390 lots.
