Gur remains flat in thin trade

There was no change in the pattern of trading in the wholesale gur (jaggery) market today, as prices by and large ruled flat on restricted trading.

Muzzafarnagar and Muradnagar gur market also pegged on last closing levels.

Marketmen said restricted supply from manufacturing areas along with sporadic buying support, mainly held gur prices around last levels.

Following are today's quotations in Rs per quintal:

Chakku Rs 2,900-2,950, Pedi Rs 3,000-3,100 and Dhayya N.T., shakkar Rs 3,100-3,200

In Muzaffarnagar: Raskat Rs 1,950-2,000, chakku Rs 2,550-2,700 and Khurpa N.T

In Muradnagar: Pedi 2,850-2,900 and Dhaya N.A
