Higher Offtake Boosts Coal India

Coal India Ltd (CIL) has achieved higher raw coal production of 290.732 million tonnes (mt) in 2002-03 against target of 286.00mt and production in the previous fiscal of 279.657mt. Increased output of 11.075mt marked increase of 3.96 per cent over the previous year.
