Idea Cellular gains on opening a Rs 3,000 crore QIP issue

The company has fixed June 5, 2014 as the relevant date and the floor price is fixed at Rs 136.98 per equity share.

Idea Cellular has surged 2.25% to Rs 139 on the BSE after opening a QIP issue through which it will offer equity shares worth Rs 3,000 crore.
 
According to BSE reports, the Securities Allotment Committee of the company has fixed June 5, 2014 as the relevant date and the floor price is fixed at Rs 136.98 per equity share. 
 
Idea Cellular is India's third largest wireless services operator and is one of the fastest growing mobile operators in the country. 
 
The stock opened at Rs 139.5, touched a high of Rs 140 and a low of Rs 138.8 on the BSE thus far. A total of 215,644 shares were traded on the BSE so far.
