Inox Wind has surged 11% to Rs 265, extending its previous day’s 3.5% gain on the BSE, after the company has bagged an order for a 20 MW wind power project from PTC Energy, a 100% subsidiary of PTC India.
The company in a release said it has received an order for a 20MW wind power project to be set up at Nipaniya, Mandsaur in the state of Madhya Pradesh from PTC Energy Ltd.
The company will supply and install 10 units of wind turbine generators and the project is due to be commissioned by March 2016, it added.
At 11:51 AM, the stock was up 9% to Rs 260 on the BSE. A combined 318,340 shares changed hands on the counter on the BSE and NSE so far.
