La Opala RG surges after block deal

La Opala RG has surged 14% to Rs 612 on the BSE, after a huge block deal with more than two percent of total equity capital executed in the counter.

At 10:08 am, around 1.43 million equity shares representing 2.57% of total equity capital of La Opala RG changed hands on the BSE, the exchange data shows.

The name of the buyers and sellers were not ascertained immediately.

Thus far in 2016, the stock of houseware company underperformed the market by falling 16%, as compared to 8% rise in the S&P BSE Sensex till yesterday.
