Lead slips 0.85% on global cues
Subdued demand from battery-makers triggered the downtrend

Lead futures for January month declined by Rs 1.05, or 0.85% to Rs 123.05 per kg in 13,053 lots.
At the Multi Commodity Exchange, the February contract traded lower by Re 1, or 0.80% to Rs 123.65 per kg in 1,597 lots.
Weak global cues affected the trade, said marketmen.
Subdued demand from battery-makers triggered the downtrend.
On the London Metal Exchange, lead dropped 0.2% to $ 2,261 a tonne.
