LIC Housing up on Q4 results

LIC Housing Finance shares went up by 6.01 per cent to Rs 318.10 on positive fourth-quarter results. The net profit increased 33.14 per cent y-o-y to Rs 157.55 crore in the quarter ended March 2009.

The stock opened at Rs 304 and made an intraday high and low of Rs 320 and Rs 296 respectively. The counter witnessed trading volumes of 1.06 million shares.
