Markets ended lower for the fourth straight session on Wednesday, amid political uncertainty after regional party DMK withdrew support from the UPA, dragged by financials.
The 30-share Sensex provisionally ended down 93 points at 18,915 and the 50-share Nifty ended down 52 points at 5,694.
