Markets Edgy On War Fears

With around 100 US and British aircraft yesterday attacking a major Iraqi air defence installation, the markets today were edgy.
The BSE Sensex lost 40.36 points to settle at 3,141.11, with investors booking profits. The rupee lost around 10 paise against the dollar, with exporters holding back remittances in the hope that the Indian currency would weaken further.
It closed at 48.59/5950 against yesterday
