Markets flat; Tata Motors slips 4%

The NSE Nifty is down six points at 4,131.

Jaiprakash Associates and Satyam have surged over 2% each to Rs 146 and Rs 449, respectively.

Tata Steel and Wipro have gained 1.5% each at Rs 738 and Rs 449, respectively.

Infosys has advanced 1.3% to Rs 1,730. TCS and Hindalco are up 1% each at Rs 874 and Rs 141, respectively.

Tata Motors has tumbled over 4% to Rs 430. HDFC has plunged 3.5% to Rs 1,982.

Mahindra & Mahindra and ICICI Bank have shed 2.3% each at Rs 499 and Rs 638, respectively.

Grasim has dropped 2% to Rs 1,905. DLF and HDFC Bank have slipped 1.6% each to Rs 417 and Rs 1,002, respectively.
