Masoor and gram prices rose up to Rs 50 per quintal in the wholesale pulses market today on pick up in demand against less arrivals.
Elsewhere, other commodities moved in a narrow range on alternate bouts of trading and settled around previous levels.
Marketmen said pick up in demand against limited arrivals mainly pushed up masoor and gram prices.
Masoor small and bold rose by Rs 50 each to Rs 3,350- 3,550 and Rs 3,550-3,800, while its dal local and best quality traded higher by the same margin to Rs 4,050-4,150 and Rs 4,350-4,650 per quintal.
Gram and its dal local and best quality were also up by Rs 25 each to Rs 2,250-2,275, Rs 2,500-2,525 and Rs 2,625-2,725 per quintal.
