Mentha oil futures for April fell by Rs 6.60, or 0.64%, to Rs 1,016 per kg in 1,052 lots.

At the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), the May contract lost Rs 5.60, or 0.56%, to Rs 988 per kg in 121 lots.

Prices fell due to increased arrivals in the physical markets from major producing belts.

Trading sentiment weakened further as investors indulged in profit-booking in the midst of a fall in spot market demands.
