Mentha oil down 0.3% on higher supply

Mentha oil prices fell by Rs 2.50 to Rs 830.10 per kg in futures trade today due to fresh supplies in the spot market along with low industrial demand.
Adequate stocks position in the physical market also fuelled the downtrend in mentha oil prices.
At the Multi Commodity Exchange, mentha oil for delivery in January fell by Rs 2.50, or 0.30%, to Rs 830.10 per kg, with a business turnover of Rs 212 lots.
Similarly, the oil for delivery in December declined by Rs 2, or 0.24%, to Rs 818.60 per kg in 191 lots.
Marketmen attributed the fall in mentha oil futures to higher supplies against low demand from consuming industries.
