Mentha oil falls almost 2% on sluggish demand

Mentha oil futures for March fell by Rs 20.40, or 1.89%, to Rs 1,061.30 per kg in 104 lots.
At the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), the April contract declined by Rs 17.40, or 1.61%, to Rs 1063.20 per kg in 478 lots.
Prices were affected as traders reduced their positions driven by sluggish demand from industries in the spot market.
Adequate stocks in the physical market following higher arrivals from Chandausi in Uttar Pradesh also put pressure on mentha oil.
