Mentha oil futures for May gained Rs 5.30, or 0.54%, to Rs 979.60 per kg in 760 lots.
At the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), the April contract edged up by Rs 3.90, or 0.40%, to Rs 971 per kg in 113 lots.
Prices rose as speculators enlarged their positions tracking firming spot market trend on strong export demand.
Restricted supplies from producing regions mainly influenced mentha oil prices at futures trade here.
