Mentha oil rises on pick-up in spot demand
Prices moved up as participants increased holdings

Mentha oil prices rose by Rs 4.60 to Rs 927.30 per kg in futures trade today after participants increased holdings tracking a firm spot as well as export demand.
At the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), the June contract rose by Rs 4.60, or 0.50%, to Rs 927.30 per kg in 239 lots.
The May contract also increased by Rs 3.70, or 0.40%, to Rs 923.20 per kg in 72 lots.
Marketmen said a firming trend at the spot markets on rising spot and export demand, mainly influenced mentha oil prices at futures trade here.
