Mentha oil up in spot demand

a firming trend at the spot markets on rising spot and export demand, mainly influenced mentha oil prices at futures trade says marketmen.

Mentha oil prices rose by Rs 8.80 to Rs 952.50 per kg in futures trade today after participants enlarged positions, tracking a firm spot as well as export demand.
    
At the Multi Commodity Exchange, mentha oil for delivery in July rose by Rs 8.80, or 0.93%, to Rs 952.50 per kg, with a trading volume of 43 lots.
    
The oil for delivery in June contract also increased by Rs 8.50, or 0.90%, to Rs 949.80 per kg, with a business turnover of 366 lots.
    
Marketmen said a firming trend at the spot markets on rising spot and export demand, mainly influenced mentha oil prices at futures trade.
