In an otherwise steady wholesale pulses market today, moth prices rose by Rs 100 per quintal on fresh buying activity. Elsewhere, prices moved in a tight range on alternate bouts of trading before ending at overnight levels.
Marketmen said fresh buying activity from stockists and pick up in demand mainly led to a rise in moth prices. Moth prices rose by Rs 100 to Rs 5,800-6,100 per quintal.
