Moth strengthens in restricted trade

Moth prices strengthened by Rs 100 per quintal in an otherwise steady wholesale pulses market today on increased buying by stockists.  

Traders said sustained buying by stockists helped moth prices to strengthen. In the national capital, moth added another Rs 100 to Rs 2,000-2,400 per quintal.

Following are today's quotations per quintal: 

Urad 3,800-4,200, Urad chilka (local) 4,580-4,980, best 5,200-5,700, Dhoya 5,050-5,150, Moong 3,950-4,950, Dal moong chilka local 4,970-5,370, Moong Dhoya local 5,300-5,500 and best quality 5,900-6,100

Masoor small 2,600-2,800, bold 2,750-3,000, Dal Masoor local 3,200-3,300, best quality 3,400-3,700, Malka local 3,300-3,350, best 3,450-3,550, Moth 2,000-2,400, Arhar 3,150-3,650, dal arhar dara 4,750-5,150

 

Gram 2,800-2,825, gram dal (local) 3,200-3,215, best quality 3,400-3,500, besan (35 kg) Shakti bhog 1,350, Rajdhani 1,350, Rajmah chitra Pune 4,000-4,400, China 4,100-4,300, red 4,300-4,400
