Nickel down 0.3% on global cues
Metal for delivery in July traded lower by 0.22%

Nickel prices fell by 0.26% to Rs 1,161.50 per kg in futures trade today as participants reduced their exposures amid a weak trend overseas.
At the Multi Commodity Exchange, nickel for delivery in August declined by Rs 3, or 0.26%, to Rs 1,161.50 per kg in a turnover of 18 lots.
Similarly, the metal for delivery in July traded lower by Rs 2.60, or 0.22%, to Rs 1,155.40 per kg in 585 lots.
Traders attributed the fall in nickel prices at futures trade to a weak trend in base metals overseas.
Meanwhile, nickel decreased 0.5% to USD 19,309 per tonne on the London Metal Exchange.
