Nifty shed 156pts; all Sensex stocks in red

The Nifty is down 156 points at 3,937.

All Sensex stocks are in negative zone.

Reliance Infrastruture has slumped nearly 10% to Rs 713. Tata Steel has plunged over 9% to Rs 673.

DFL has shed 7.3% at Rs 393. HDFC has tumbled 7% to Rs 1,895.

Mahindra & Mahindra, ICICI Bank and Tata Motors have slipped over 6% each to Rs 440, Rs 585 and Rs 389, repsectively.

Jaiprakash Assocaites has dropped 5.3% to Rs 137. Reliance Communications and Ambuja Cements have declined over 5% each to Rs 397 and Rs 72, respectively.
