Prashant Saran gets second term at Sebi

Prashant Saran took charge as a whole-time member of the Securities and Exchange Board of India (Sebi) on Thursday for a tenure of five years, or till attainment of 65 years of age, whichever is earlier. He had earlier served as a whole-time member of Sebi for a term of three years, which ended on May 17, 2012.
