Provisional: Sensex ends lower, RIL slumps 3%

BSE-Oil & Gas and FMCG indices were the top losers today

Markets ended on a negative note this Wednesday on back of selling pressure witnessed in heavyweights such as Reliance Industries and HDFC Bank.

BSE-Oil & Gas and FMCG indices were the top losers today with stocks like Reliance Industries, Hindustan Unilever falling close to 2-3 per cent each.

On a provisional basis, 30-share Sensex fell 77.67 points to end at 19,842.54 and the 50-share Nifty added 18.60 points at 5,873.85 levels.
