Markets ended the day on a positive note after a volatile trading session on account of slight buying witnessed in oil & gas and realty stocks.
On a provisional basis, the Bombay Stock Exchange's 30-share index Sensex rose 28 points at 19,573 while the National Stock Exchange's 50-share was up 7 points to end at 5,926.90.
