Shares of PTC India Financial Services were up over 2% at Rs 42 on the Bombay Stock Exchange after the company signed a memorandum of understanding with India Infrastructure Finance Company Ltd to provide financing for infrastructure projects in India.
As per the agreement, PTC India and IIFCL will offer a single window to promoters of Infrastructure projects particularly in energy value chain and facilitate their financing in India, PTC India Financial Services said in a release.
Both companies will collaborate to provide credit enhancement facility to various projects to enable their financing at competitive rates, apart from collaborating in areas of mutual interest towards service to infrastructure, the release added.
The stock opened at Rs 42 and touched a high of Rs 42.50. At 12:25pm, over 735,000 shares were traded on both the stock exchanges.
