To boost industrial development, the Punjab government is inviting private players to set up industrial and commercial projects in the state.
While Mahindra Realty & Infrastructure Developers, in association with the Punjab State Electricity Development Corporation (PSEDC) is developing its first, Rs 350 crore, commercial project in Mohali, Chandigarh, SIEL Industrial Estate Ltd, a Shriram group company, is offering freehold industrial plots at 600-acre SIEL Millenium Park near Rajpura.
SIEL's park will focus on getting manufacturing companies particularly in the food processing, metalworking and machine part sectors.

While Mahindra Realty plans to bring in Rs 350 crore as financial equity for the project, PSEDC has provided the land.
Mahindra Realty is currently in talks with several financial institutions to raise equity for the said project.
