Ranbaxy down 3%; BHEL up 2%

DLF has tumbled over 4.4% at Rs 489. Ranbaxy has plunged 3.1% to Rs 543.

Ambuja Cements has declined 2.6% to Rs 86. HDFC Bank has slipped 2.1% to Rs 1,159. HDFC has lost 1.9% to Rs 2,145.

NTPC has dropped 1.&% to Rs 162. Jaiprakash Associates has declined 1.3% to Rs 181.

Infosys is down 1.1% at Rs 1,874. ONGC has shed 0.9% at Rs 823.

Reliance and TCS are down 0.8% each to Rs 2,242 and Rs 886, respectively.

BHEL has gained 2.2% to Rs 1,514. ITC has moved up 1.4% at Rs 202.

Mahindra & Mahindra and Bharti Airtel are up nearly 1% each at Rs 579 and Rs 814, respectively.

 

The markets breadth is neutral - out of 2,610 stocks traded so far, 1,278 have declined, 1,242 have advanced and 90 are unchanged.
