Range-bound movement continues, ITC, RIL up 2%

The Sensex continues to move in the same morning range of 200-odd points - a low of 9,631 and a high of 9,850. The index is now down 36 points at 9,698.

Hindalco, ITC and Reliance have rallied over 2% each to Rs 58, Rs 172 and Rs 1,195, respectively.

NTPC and HDFC have moved up 1.5% each to Rs 147 and Rs 1,682, respectively.

Reliance Infrastructure, TCS and Hindustan Unilever are up 1% each at Rs 512, Rs 506 and Rs 248, respectively.

Bharti Airtel has gained 1.5% at Rs 649. Hindustan Unilever, Hindalco and Reliance Communications are up 1% each at Rs 248, Rs 57 and Rs 218, respectively.

ICICI Bank has plunged 4% to Rs 416. Tata Power and Mahindra & Mahindra have shed over 3% each at Rs 695 and Rs 367, respectively.

 

Tata Steel, DLF and Tata Motors have dropped over 2% each to Rs 182, Rs 265 and Rs 156, respectively.
