Refined soya oil up 0.3% on strong demand

Oil for delivery in July gained 0.36%

Refined soya oil prices rose 0.37% to Rs 681 per 10 kg in futures market today on strong demand in the spot market.

At the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, refined soya oil for delivery in June added Rs 2.50, or 0.37%, to Rs 681 per 10 kg with an open interest of 1,12,370 lots.

Similarly, the oil for delivery in July gained Rs 2.40, or 0.36%, to Rs 661.60 per 10 kg in 1,52,750 lots.

Analysts said the rise in refined soya oil prices at futures trade was due to speculators enlarging positions on strong demand in the spot market.
