Reliance Infrastructure (RInfra) has moved higher by 4% to Rs 400 after the company trhough its special purpose vehicle (SPV) said it has started toll collection for its Rs 556 crore road project from Jaipur to Reengus in Rajasthan in Rajasthan.
“The Rs 556 crore project has been executed on DBFOT (design, build, operate, finance and transfer) pattern under the aegis of National Highways Authority of India,” RInfra said in a statement.
The company has been awarded the contract for a concession period of 18 years, it added.
“The corridor will witness traffic density of approximately 22,600 vehicles per day, which is expected to double in the next four years,” said Mr Sudhir R Hoshing, CEO (Roads), RInfra.
RInfra SPV JR Toll Road Pvt. Ltd currently have 11 road projects of 1000 kms worth Rs12,000 crore, of which 9 are operational and revenue generating.
The stock opened at Rs 392 and hit a high of Rs 400 on BSE. A combined 2.5 million shares have changed hands on the counter so far on BSE and NSE.
