Saria prices rose by Rs 200 per tonne in the wholesale steel market today on stockists buying followed by pick up in demand.
Traders said fresh stockists buying on marginal improvement in demand mainly pushed up wholesale saria prices.
In the saria section, Kamdhenu 8-mm, 10-mm and 12-mm were up by Rs 200 each to Rs 40,300, Rs 40,000 and Rs 38,700 per tonne, respectively.
Similarly, saria 16-25-mm traded higher by the same margin at Rs 38,550 per tonne.
