Saria strengthens on increased demand

Saria prices shot up by Rs 200 per tonne on the wholesale steel and iron market today largely on the back increased offtake by stockists following pick up in demand.

Elsewhere, M S Angle and other steels continued to trade around previous closing. Traders said increased offtake by stockists mainly pushed up saria prices.

In the saria segment, kamdhenu 8-mm, 10-mm, 12-mm and 16-25mm were up by Rs 200 each to Rs 41,000, Rs 41,700, Rs 40,400 and Rs 38,250 per tonne, respectively.
