Sebi checking insider trading issues

Flagging its concern over rising incidents of insider trading, capital market watchdog Securities and Exchange Board of India on Monday said it was working to sort out the issues. "Related-party transactions are one of the concerns of corporate governance. Appointment of independent directors and protection of interest of minority shareholders are other areas of challenge for the regulator," Sebi executive director Usha Narayanan said on Monday.
