Sensex back in green; breadth -ve

The Sensex opened 62 points higher at 9,129, and soon touched a high of 9,225. The index, thereafter, pared gains and slipped into red to a low of 9,041 - down 184 points from the day's high. The index has bounced back into green and is now up 61 points at 9,127.
ACC has surged 4% to Rs 513, and Grasim has rallied over 3% to Rs 1,228.
ITC has gained 2.5% at Rs 182. Maruti has advanced nearly 2% to Rs 577.
BHEL, Hindustan Unilever and TCS have moved up around 1.5% each to Rs 1,328, Rs 265 and Rs 499, respectively.
ONGC and Sun Pharma are up 1.3% each at Rs 648 and Rs 1,059, respectively.

DLF has slumped over 9% to Rs 139. Tata Motors has tumbled 4.5% to Rs 136.
Ranbaxy has shed nearly 3% at Rs 204. Hindalco has dropped over 2% to Rs 45.
Tata Steel and Tata Power have declined 1.5% each to Rs 170 and Rs 740, respectively.
The market breadth is negative - out of 2,043 stocks traded so far, 1,109 have declined, 833 have advanced and the rest are unchanged.
