The NSE Nifty is down 19 points at 5,018.
TCS has plunged over 6% to Rs 930. Wipro and Satyam have slipped over 2% each to Rs 444 and Rs 449, respectively.
Mahindra & Mahindra has shed 1.7% at Rs 628, and Infosys is down 1.3% at Rs 1,624.
Cipla has gained 1.5% at Rs 229.
