Sensex ends 320pts lower

The Sensex finally ended (provisional) at 13,439, down 320points.

The Sensex after touching a high of  13,897, has plunged into red and  is now at 13,492. It is down 264 points.

Jaiprakash Associates has tumbled 4.5% to Rs 188.

Sun Pharma has declined nearly 4% to Rs 1,169.

Reliance Iinfrastructure, Mahindra & Mahindra, SBI, Reliance and HDFC are down 2-3% each.

Sterlite, Wipro, Infosys are up 3.5% each.

The market breadth is marginally negative - out of 2,585 shares, 1,451 have declined and 1,037 have advanced.
