Sensex ends down 307 points at 15,390

Unabated selling in banking, realty and IT stocks pushed the index into a negative zone for a whole day. The index drifted to a day's low of 15,390 - down 400 points from day's high.

The Sensex finally ended (provisional) with a loss of 307 points at 15,390.

The markets breadth was marginally negative - out of 2,727 stocks traded, 1,428 declined, 1,228 advanced and 71 were unchanged today.

The NSE Nifty ended (provisional) with a loss of 71 points at 4,582.
