The Sensex today opened 474 points up at 14,758. Soon after it slipped to a low of 13,834.
The index is now flat at 14,305.
DLF has sky-rocketed over 20% to Rs 388. Reliance Communications and SBI have zoomed 15% each to Rs 330 and Rs 1,811, respectively.
ICICI Bank, Mahindra & Mahindra and Reliance Infrastructure have soared 10% each to Rs 780, Rs 635 and Rs 1,100, respectively.
Larsen & Toubro has rallied 9% to Rs 1,349. Maruti Suzuki has surged 8% to Rs 1,000. Grasim and Sterlite have gained 7% each.
Tata Motors, HDFC, HDFC Bank, Tata Steel, BHEL, ONGC and ACC have advanced 2-6% each.
