Sensex gains 73pts; Ambuja Cements up 4.1%

The Nifty is trading 8 points higher at 4868.

Ambuja Cements is up 4.1% at Rs 101. Hindalco has advanced 3.6% at Rs 192.

ITC and Satyam are up 2% at Rs 213 and Rs 509 respectively. TCS has gained 1.7% at Rs 983.

Bharti, ACC, HUL, HDFC Bank, Grasim and Ranbaxy are all trading over 1%.

Bhel is trading 2.6% lower at Rs 1,615 and L&T is down 1.6% to Rs 2,699.

Tata Motors is down 1.5% at Rs 617. RCom has declined 1.3% at Rs 544.

ONGC and Reliance Infra are down 1% each. Maruti, M&M, Tata Steel and HDFC are the other losers.
