Sensex in the positive; Ranbaxy up 4.4%

Ranbaxy has gained a smart 4.4% to Rs 490, Satyam is up 2.7% to Rs 486. HDFC, ITC, Wipro and Infosys are all up over 1% each. Reliance Industries is up 0.14% to Rs 2,531.

Grasim is down 3.7% to Rs 2,254, Jaiprakash Associates has declined 3.1% to Rs 243 and ACC has lost 2.3% to Rs 696. DLF, Reliance Infra and M&M are down 1.8% each at Rs 619, Rs 1,308 and Rs 660 respectively.
