Sensex marginally down; Tata Motors slips 5%

The Sensex is now down 50 points at 14,237.

The NSE Nifty is down four points at 4,310.

Tata Steel has surged 3% to Rs 649. Tata Power and DLF have rallied 2% each to Rs 1,138 and Rs 500, respectively.

NTPC has moved up 1.5% to Rs 173. Wipro and Reliance are up over 1% each at Rs 427 and Rs 2,187, respectively.

Tata Motors has tumbled nearly 5% to Rs 396. ITC has shed 3.7% at Rs 181.

Maruti has slipped 2.3% to Rs 575. TCS and SBI have dropped around 1.5% each to Rs 825 and Rs 1,365, respectively.

 

Bharti Airtel is down 1.3% at Rs 799.
