Sensex opens in the positive; Ranbaxy up 3.4%

Ranbaxy has gained 3.4% to Rs 543.50, ICICI Bank is up 2% to Rs 742 and Bhel has advanced 1.05% to Rs 1519.

Maruti is down 1.4% to Rs 736, Reliance Infra has lost 1.3% to Rs 1046 and NTPC has declined 1.1% to Rs 163. Hindustan Unilever and Bharti are down 1% each.
