Sensex opens positive; ICICI Bank gains 3.7%

ICICI Bank has gained 3.75% to Rs 793.50, Infosys is up 3.4% to Rs 1,927 and HDFC has advanced 3% to Rs 2,197.50. Bharti is also up 3% to Rs 838. HDFC Bank, JP Associates, Bhel, ONGC, Wipro and DLF have all gained over 2% each.

Tata Motors, the only loser in the Sensex, is down 0.14% to Rs 506.
